As a sporting body with members across the country, this client needed flexible and reliable communications solutions. We implemented Office 365 and migrated email systems to Exchange Online allowing the organisation to stay connected with its members and focus on its objectives.
Volleyball England is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of Volleyball across England. The organisation is working hard to modernise the image of the game and has set itself some ambitious targets for the expansion of its membership.
To support these ambitious plans for growth, Volleyball England needed a computer system that enabled the organisation to focus on its strategic objectives and not waste time administering and maintaining old and out-of-date IT systems.
“We were most impressed with the way Microtrading planned and implemented our migration to Office 365, resulting in zero downtime for our users. Many of our staff are out in the field running and organising events and competitions. In order for us to operate effectively as an organisation, communication and collaboration is key. Our old systems were not conducive to this, but with Office 365 we can now access our systems from wherever we are and on a multitude of devices.”
Martin Lindsey, Business Director
Microtrading, a Microsoft Gold and Cloud Accelerate Partner, migrated the existing on-premise email system to Exchange Online and implemented the Office 365 E3 non-profit plans for Volleyball England. This gives them an always up-to-date version of Microsoft Office and allows them to share information and collaborate effectively using SharePoint Online for team sites and document libraries, and Skype for web conferencing and instant messaging.
Office 365 has made a massive difference to Volleyball England and they are now ahead of the game. Staff are more productive than ever before and senior management are focused on implementing their growth strategy without worrying about IT.
