Rescroft was established in 1976 and designs, manufactures and produces quality seating for vehicles that are supplied throughout the UK, Europe and other countries.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, Rescroft needed to upgrade its computer systems from the existing Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) platform to a more scalable and flexible solution that offered greater resilience and business continuity.

Microtrading implemented a virtualised server solution running the latest in Windows Server technology and Microsoft’s Hyper-V platform. The servers replicate with each other to provide high levels of business continuity and failover. Microsoft Office 365 was also implemented to replace the previous on premise mail server, giving the business larger mailbox capacities and easy access to email from anywhere in the world.
